Quite often people come to the area to visit family or friends. The scenic beauty offers a great backdrop for weddings and parties. The area is also host to many small town festivals and events so check the event calenders when you plan a visit. The premiere event this fall is the Chesapeake Bay Wine and Harvest Festival at Stratford Hall Plantation.
