Rappahannock Record covers wine tourism conference - March 4th 2009
Wine tourism and local business leaders gathered at Belle Mount Vineyards for a conference on March 4th. The event was attended by almost 100 people seeking ways to work cooperatively with the wine trail. New relationships developed and the guests were impressed by the dinner with wines currently produced by some of the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail members. The Rappahannock Record represented the local newspaper and covered the story on their website with a picture of Patty Held, a guest speaker on winery marketing. The conference was a great success and many people want to become involved in the next step. A wine trail passport program and a multitude of events are now on the schedule. Thanks go out to Bay Etching and Imprinting of Lively for helping produce the event and for the wonderful demonstration on the taste differences in wine glasses. Filed in Media Coverage |
